The world’s No. 1 table tennis women’s doubles team, Jeon Ji-hee (Mirae Asset Securities) and Shin Yu-bin (Korean Air), reached the finals of the World Table Tennis (WTT) Saudi Smash 2024.
The pair of Jeon Ji-hee and Shin Yu-bin defeated the pair of Ng Wing Lam (Hong Kong) and Yang Ji Liu (Australia) 3-0 (11-7 11-9 11-4) in the women’s doubles semifinals on the 9th day of the tournament held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 9th (local time). He was easily suppressed.
Jeon Ji-hee and Shin Yu-bin, who won the first gold medal in Korean table tennis in 21 years at last year’s Hangzhou Asian Games, won successively at this year’s Contender Doha and Star Contender Goa competitions.
