Pohang Steelers forward Zeca has been named the September Player of the Month.
The EA SPORTS K League Player of the Month Award is selected by a vote of the league’s TSG Technical Committee (60%) from among players who were named Man of the Match, Best Eleven, and MVP in K League 1 matches held during the month.
The nominees selected by the 안전카지노사이트 TSG Technical Committee will be subjected to additional fan voting (25%) and ‘FIFA Online 4’ user voting (15%) through the official K League website, and the player who receives the highest conversion score by adding the three items will be awarded the Player of the Month Award.
For the September Player of the Month award, four matches from the 29th through 32nd rounds of the K League 1 were evaluated. The nominees were Go Jae-hyun, Vasellus (Daegu FC), Ilyuchenko (FC Seoul), and Zeca (Pohang). After voting, Pohang’s “ace” Zeca, who has been on a scoring spree lately, was named the September Player of the Month.
Zeca appeared in all four matches evaluated and scored a total of three goals. In particular, he started the match between Pohang and Suwon FC in the 30th round, scoring two goals in the first half alone to thrill the home crowd. With his one-man show, Zeca was not only named Man of the Match, but also swept the Best Eleven and Round MVP awards for Round 30.
Zeca’s K League Player of the Month honor is the first of his career. He is the third Pohang player to win the award after Wandelsson in August 2019 and Ilyuchenko in October 2020.
