The Daegu KOGAS basketball team got off to a great start with a victory in its first game.
In its first practice game of the summer season at the Daegu Indoor Gymnasium on the afternoon of the 9th, the KOGAS defeated the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, 87-62, thanks to an even performance from the players and a focused defense.
In an exploratory first quarter, KOGAS was led by Shin Joo-young in scoring, but the team struggled to get their offense going after the midway point and 토토 ended the first quarter with a 15-17 lead.

GAS Gonggong starts the second quarter with a dominant performance to take the lead.
Led by offseason acquisition Jung Sung-woo, a guard with 16 points and 2 rebounds in the second quarter alone, GASK regained the lead with a dominant performance from 3-point range to end the half.
The offense continued in the third quarter, building a lead that grew to nearly 15 points, and GASK maintained their advantage until the end of the game, closing out their first exhibition game at home with a 15-point victory.
With Kim Nak-hyun leading the team’s guard lineup alongside Jung Sung-woo with 16 points and Shin Joo-hyung with 10 points and eight rebounds, GASCO showed that while the team still needs to work on its tactical skills, it has already completed a solid physical training program.
The team donated supplies to local schools in Daegu before the game, and even on weekdays, students and casual fans sit in the stands to enjoy the early basketball fun.
The game against the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines continues on the weekend on the 10th, which is also open to the public for fans to watch.
